What we do

At Gloucestershire Group Homes, we provide Small Group Homes for adults with autism based in and around the beautiful town of Nailsworth. Each home is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission and rated as GOOD.

Our goal is to ensure every person we support can live safely, confidently, and as independently as possible within their community.

Individualised Support

We understand that every person with autism is unique. Our dedicated team of staff work closely with each individual — and their families — to create personalised support plans tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and goals.

This includes help with daily living skills, communication, social interaction, and emotional wellbeing.

Safe and Supportive Homes

Our homes are designed to be calm, structured, and nurturing environments where residents feel secure and valued.
We provide 24-hour support delivered by trained staff who understand autism and who promote dignity, respect, and choice.

Encouraging Independence

We believe in empowering individuals to take an active role in their own lives.
Through ongoing encouragement and skill-building, we support people to:

  • Develop practical and social skills
  • Access education, training, or work opportunities
  • Participate in community and leisure activities
  • Build confidence and self-esteem

Partnerships and Professional Care

We work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to deliver consistent, person-centred care.

Our services comply with all regulatory standards, and we continually review and improve our practices to ensure the best outcomes for those we support.
